Eric Kripke really hated the roadhouse.

#sometimes i don’t understand creators’ attitudes towards their creations #actually i have a lot of problems with kripke because we clash on a lot of ideas#reading the s4 guide and he’s saying things like #he never wanted angels because he wanted humans to be the only force of good in the world #and so the only way anyone convinced him to have angels is when sera (!!) went what if the angels were dicks#meanwhile i’m sat here like HOW DEPRESSING DOES YOUR WORLDVIEW HAVE TO BE #TO CREATE A WORLD FULL OF MONSTERS AND EVIL AND DEMONS #AND REFUSE THE IDEA THAT THERE MIGHT BE ANY SORT OF FORCE FOR GOOD :C #and then i look at this gifset and all i can think is #how is the roadhouse not realistic or credible? in-universe it made total sense #even hunters need an information network #what’s so wrong with background characters being heroes of their own stories? That’s how you create a fleshed-out world eric! #i love 1-5 but i do not pretend it didn’t have a shit-ton of problems #and a lot of those stemmed from kripke #i have high hopes for carver because he’s never seemed to share those views (via neraiutsuze)
